A great little system if you set your expectations up to Dreamcast and PSP but want a handheld that is actually pocketable. As it is also Linux based, it is easier to setup with just dragging and dropping your ROMs into the selected game folders and away you go. There is a drawback to that as you will have to download your own box art to make it look nice. Also, currently there is no fully functioning custom firmware available so you are stuck with the original stock OS, which is fine for the most part as it works well. Custom firmware in the older Smart Pro model added a lot more features such as more RetroArch cores for more emulator options and nicer UI. It’s a wait and see situation for a custom firmware for the S model.

Such awesome power for a Linux device, plays everything really well but love upscaled Dreamcast on this, psp is awesome and some great accessories. Would order again and gave one a gift, no setup was required, turned it on and played! Did order with the gift bag but gift bag never arrived.

Es mi primera consola retro y creo que he acertado sin duda. (Mi hermano tiene la R36S y tampoco es que desconozca por completo el mundo de la emulación). Diría que el techo técnico es la PSP, pero la emula sin problemas al doble de la resolución. Por su puesto, PS1, N64, Dreamcast… las mueve genial. Lo único malo es que como es todavía muy nueva apenas tiene firmwares alternativos. El que lleva de serie funciona muy bien, pero echo de menos portmaster, algo de personalización y que las colecciones se gestionarán de forma más sencilla. SpruceOS 4.0 todavía va un poco mal y Crossmix todavía no tiene versión para esta versión de trimUI. Como nota adicional, me paso el día jugando a n64 y dreamcast que funcionan fenomenal y tienen juegardos como dukenukem, doom, starwars Racer…. aunque también echo de vez en cuando alguna partida al Mario 3 o a juegos de mame.

I put a review up for this new handheld from another seller. I like it for its pocket friendly nature and ease of use. But to get the most out of it you will need to spend a bit of time learning how to get the ROMs and nice box art etc.

Muy bueno calidad precio, configurable, se puede añadir y borrar juegos de manera sencilla, sin tener que sacar la tarjeta sd, todo con el cable usb. La autonomía es sobre 3h en el peor de los casos y el cargador es usbc, que es el estándar para conectar una batería alternativa si vas a jugar mas tiempo sin recargarla.
